I want to say an extra big thank you to Mandeep (dentist) and Ellie (nurse) for being with me every step of the way, your aftercare and support has been overwhelming and I’m so so pleased with the end result 😊. Anybody reading this review believe me Ascent Dental Care Loughborough is honestly the best.

Fantastic professionalism and flexibility to suit my demands. I was booked in originally to have some routine maintenance carried out but then after looking at the cosmetic services that Ascent provide decided to opt for Veneers. Perfect job carried out and a big thanks to all.

I broke off a very old crown but Ascent gave me an appointment really quickly. Thorough examination and x-ray shows it can’t be replaced but explained why so, and given various options to consider. Another appointment booked in next week to progress. Very satisfied with the overall patient care provided.

Good Morning, following my wife: Gilly’s, superb experience at Ascent l have bitten the bullet and have had treatment myself. Since a child l have had wonkey teeth and have been overly conscious of my smile. I booked in to see Jyoti: who worked a minor miracle on Gilly’s broken front tooth, and how glad l am, although l suspect all the dentists have the same expertise. I had my initial appraisal and after a thorough check up and discussion l decided on composite bonding preceeded by home teeth whitening. The whitening was followed by a further appointment to finalise the bonding work and see a mock up that Jyoti had made showing me how my teeth would look after bonding. Once agreed, the game was on😬😬, Final appointment 2 weeks later and I shouldn’t have worried, 2 1/2 hours in the chair and the work was completed with no injections, no pain, slight discomfort but to be expected. Then came the big reveal, no fanfare or band playing, just Jyoti and her dental tech smiling and holding a mirror for me to look at my, “new” self. I can’t accurately describe how l felt, after so many years of smiling with a closed mouth or the hand over my mouth, l could now see straight white: not too white, gleaming teeth, overjoyed about sums it up. Anyway, enough of me, Jyoti is in my opinion a fabulous dentist with a smashing manner and approach, not at all pushy and is respectful of her patients input, faultless. When you then add the fantastic and friendly girls/ladies on reception, in my case Caitlan and Ellie, the whole dentist experience is on a level l have never felt before in a dentists surgery. Bottom line, Gilly and l have fallen on our feet choosing Ascent and have now joined their care plan. Thanks to all. Rgds Peter Battersby JP

I had an emergency appointment today and Mandeep and Ellie were great at not only explaining what was happening with my tooth extraction but also keeping me calm as I was very nervous. The extraction its self was quick and in no way uncomfortable. I am very greatful to them both for putting me at ease and the being professional throughout the appointment

I was referred to this practice by my local dentist to under go root canal treatment ahead of having cosmetic work done. I was seen by Jesal who instantly made me feel at ease and explained in detail the procedure that would be carried out, including all risks and costs before I gave the go ahead. The treatment itself was painless and so relaxing. I could of fell to sleep while he worked on my tooth. Jesal made sure I was ok throughout the 2 and a half hours I was in the dentist chair and explained what part of the procedure he was going to do next and what I should expect in terms of vibrations, washing, slight tugging…
A week later I received a little card through the post with a simple message to say how well I did during my treatment and that he will see me soon for my 6 month review, which I thought was a really nice touch! I really felt looked after and i would highly recommend anyone to get treatment here. Communication between myself, this practice and my local dentist has been excellent. Thank you to the amazing team at Loughborough for a very pleasant experience.

Jes and the team were fantastic! I had multiple route canals. Overall lasted about 90 mins … minimal pain honestly I felt a tiny amount of pain for no more than 1 minute throughout. Jes and his assistant were very conscientious, I was numbed at the start and throughout was asked if was doing okay.
I was little nervous beforehand, but actually could have napped midway through !
The chilled out ibiza tunes in the background in the room made for an even more relaxing atmosphere
Dont delay, have a root canal with Jes and Co.

I couldn’t recommend Ascent highly enough, especially for patients who are nervous about going to the dentist. Every member of staff I have interacted with has been friendly, professional and made me feel totally at ease, even though I was very anxious about visiting the dentist. I requested a new patient consultation and was seen by my dentist Mandeep and dental nurse Alex later that same week. Mandeep was so patient and thorough and explained the treatment I required clearly every step of the way and Alex was lovely and so reassuring. Again, appointments for the treatment were available straight away and Mandeep and dental nurse Hollie were so calming and professional. I was so happy with the service throughout this initial consultation and treatment that I have joined Ascent as a member and will continue to come for my routine check-ups and I no longer feel frightened about the prospect of a dentist visit!

16 months of dental work and I couldn’t be happier with the final result with my new smile!

I did not think it was possible to perfect my teeth due to my over bite and I was worried about the time I would need to wear a brace but it flew by.

The transformation is amazing and I can now smile with confidence!

Mandeep is honestly just an angel! ❤️❤️ I came in with my little boy on Friday who has quite severe learning disabilities and once again she was as lovely as ever! She just gives such a warm welcome! William didn’t want to sit in the chair and was already pretty stressed, so Mandeep just whizzed over on her chair and had a look in his mouth whilst he was stood up, rather than wait for him to get more distressed! It made it so much easier that she just got on with it in the way Wills was happiest!

So I first started coming here as a temporary measure during lockdown when I couldn’t get an nhs appointment as everywhere was shut and I was in DESPERATE need of a dentist. However Mandeep is just soooo lovely that instead of only coming to fix the issues I had during lockdown, we’ve instead signed both myself, my partner, and our 2 kids, on to membership plans because honestly she’s just so lovely, we’d feel like we were cheating if we went anywhere else 😂😂 We love her so much that she actually regularly come up in conversation when we’re debating buying junk food from on the food shop! Neither of us want to disappoint Mandeep… we always threaten each other with “I’ll tell Mandeep next time I see her if you buy that” 😂 If she ever leaves we’ll be going with her because she’s the nicest person everrrrr!!!

I cannot recommend highly enough. I am a bit of a nervous/embarrassed patient and I must say the whole team have been excellent, from the person I first contacted to the receptionists and the dental team themselves. I’m very excited to get my ‘new teeth’ and have already been so impressed that I have moved my children here too.
